Priority 2.png
  •  Stronger social connections between different age groups, cultures and local organisations

  • Residents feeling less lonely, more valued and listened to

  • A variety of activities at different levels and abilities and accessible to all

  • Opportunities to be physically and mentally active and join together

We will do this by:

  • Engaging residents in activities and organised get togethers (online only at present)

  • Promoting a variety and diversity of events via all media

  • Supporting new links between residents and local organisations

  • Encourage residents to participate in and lead groups and activities locally (when permitted)

  • Developing the Stanwell Community Allotments as an interactive outdoor space for promoting mental and physical well being

Success will look like:

  • More resident led activities, higher attendance at events and new residents involved

  • New groups and collaborations between residents and local partners

  • Grants Panel funding for not-for-profit organisations and constituted groups

  • Residents having a more positive outlook, improved wellbeing and more opportunities to actively connect

  • Better links between residents, providers and local resources and venues

How can I get involved?
